Turbo D16

I was browsing streetfire for videos and saw one that said 92 mpg. I watched the video and thought the car was pretty cool. When they showed the engine shot, I couldnt believe it had a turbo d16. I went over the engine shot a few times just to make sure I wasnt seeing things. Nope, I wasnt. It sure was a turbo'd d16 powering that car. It looks like a Revhard manifold and I couldnt tell what kind of turbo it had but it had an internal wastegate. I thought this was pretty cool. Check the video out:

if thats crank, bone stock d15 will make that. 180whp, bone stock d15 would make that.

the mpg comes from their "vaporization"

or really good aerodynamics. my hatch was getting 43-45mph on the highway. now make the car extremely light, with great aerodynamics, then its golden.

i thought the vaporization was something they were working on? (aka not implemented yet)

very nice , it says its vtec so is it a vx motor? (vtec-e) because that wasnt a jdm d15b.

Awsome. I would like to know how they would get that car/concept in production, because there using a honda motor wouldnt honda have to be a part of it? Also porcshe because there using there rack. I dont know it would be freakin cool to have one.

There is a D16 motor that runs on compressed natural gas (96-98 Civic GX). The pistons from that motor have a 12.5:1 CR i think that this car have this engine. those piston on a d16z6 and a y8 head make a excelent set up

Give me the motor setup up... Im figuring in a coupe or hatch even if I love 40mpg. I'll still have a quick 14 sec car thats getting 50+ miles to the gallon...
