Nice car but the real question is will it last like a honda.
hope it does. also how does it handle compared to old honda

i know this response is a little late, but i read about someone making over 450whp on the stock SRT-4 head and block. i think they ran it with 455whp before it detonated...so im pretty sure the SRT-4 will last longer than a boosted honda.

I haven't heard about the 455whp, but that's sick if it's true. Look at this link:

Well, I'm VERY impressed with my dyno numbers. The stock ratings of 230bhp and 250tq at the fly are dead on. As you can see on my first run (RED) the results were pretty much what Chrysler claimed.

On the second (BLUE) run, I simply removed the top of the air filter box so that the air filter wouldn't be restricted. The results were amazing! No boost controller or any type of tuning! NOTE: The stock air filter was still attached.

How's the traction (or lack thereof) in the SRT-4? Do they have a limited slip?

I'm really not sure yet. Everyone seems to say the stock turbo is good for 300whp, so I guess I'll try that route before I swap on a larger unit. I may just go for a AGP manifold and a T3/T4 setup. 16psi will make well over 330whp.

Actually, the 2004 models come with a LSD from the factory. The stock motor mounts are VERY weak and move a lot. When I post my dyno videos, you'll be able to see them move. They won't be in the car for very long. 8)

No, I didn't want to upgrade the speakers right now so I got one with 30x4 (I think). It has fader control with a non-fader pre-out for sub control. The BEST aspect of the deck is that it has built-in crossovers for the fader and non-fader outputs.

Damn I'm late, you sold the Civic.

Neon looks great.

I sold both of the boosted D16s...now I have a Acura SLX! Looking for a 88-91 hatch to play with

Yeah, you haven't been on the forum since February. I get my boost controller and CAI this week - bring the SLX to the track and let's play!

Wait - forget the race, you got me on the off-road, though.

I don't think you'll be jumping any curbs with 22" wheels! You hit one and there'll be a HUGE dent in those wheels.

Nice ride Scrappy! I'm a big fan of the SRT-4. You ready to start tweaking it yet? About the 455whp stock block that is true. The guys last name is Anderson, can't remember his first name :?
Cody Loveland (Lovefab) recently made 400whp on his stock block at Payn Technologies in Detroit. I beilieve Cody is offering manifolds for the SRT-4 now. http://www.lovefab.com

Yeah, I checked those manifolds out already, they look alright. I'm sure they'll get a little better with time, still looking a little rough around the welds. I've been looking at AGP's upgrade kit. I think I should be able to use a manifold like the one from Lovefab and a T3/T4 setup with the E-Manage and larger injectors. I'm only looking for 300+, so it's not unreasonable.

Custom made manifolds don't look much better than this, his welds are pretty tight.
